Hello- I am trying to find the small silver icons that I have seen in churches in Greece- not of saints but of particular ailments or body parts that the devout person is praying for or would like a blessing on. I have seen these icons adorned with a leg, an ear, an arm, a torso, a baby, and bust, for example. These would be left on the altar once a prayer is said. They are about the size of a credit card, executed in either silver or metal, embossed to show the body part in relief. Can you please tell me what they are called and where I might find them?
